Standard-compliant testing of charging technology in the context of e-mobility
For the testing of charging points (wallboxes, charging stations and charging columns in the context of e-mobility and its charging infrastructure, the tester must have sound specialist knowledge in his testing area. Whether applicable law or individual practical problems from your special field, you will learn in our two-day seminar on the basis of practical problems, which approaches you can use to save time and conform to standards. Testing during commissioning and later during repeat testing of electric e-vehicle charging systems are daily tasks of the electrician setting up the system. The testing task must be carried out systematically, this is the only way to save time and be successful.
In this seminar, the various test strategies for commissioning and the required statutory tests of the protective measures to be demonstrated in electrical systems are taught and practiced. In addition to the applicable standards, laws and regulations, special features of the charging of development vehicles, testing of special RCD types and plugs will also be covered.
By means of practical exercises, the participants learn how to handle (their own) test equipment and the various test procedures. The equipment with different charging columns and wallbox types and the use of current measurement technology qualify this seminar as "practical & immediately applicable".
Seminar Objective:
After participating in our two-day seminar, you will be able to assess and carry out the initial and repeat tests on charging systems (charging columns & wallboxes) in the scope of e-mobility in a practical manner. You will be familiar with the requirements of the relevant standards, official regulations and other significant rule-setters as well as the technical background.

Our special training
Would you like an individual training concept that is directly adapted to your company? We offer the following maintenance concepts in our portfolio:
Special training in electrical drive systems
Basics – Development strategies – Innovation potential: The choice of the right e-machine is crucial in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency in an electrified powertrain. In our special training, the participants get to know the different types of electrical machinery, their structure and how they work. After participating, they can assess the advantages and disadvantages and know important criteria for evaluating different e-machines in connection with different forms of electrification. We pay particular attention to the interactions with the overall drive system and the consideration of NVH and cooling.
Special training basic knowledge of traction battery
We impart broad basic knowledge about the design of traction batteries, the selection of components and in particular the functionality of Li-ion cells in automotive applications.
Participants receive a compact, comprehensive and practice-oriented overview of the current state of the art of traction batteries for electric vehicles as well as the entire value creation process. The cell integration into a high-voltage battery with the necessary performance and safety elements such as thermal, battery and risk management components is traced. Based on this, interpretations can be competently assessed, specifications developed by suppliers can be assessed, and tests and quality assurance measures can be developed and implemented.
Special plug connector training (in automotive applications)
The steadily growing number of electrically and electronically controlled functions in automobiles has also led to an increase in the number of plug connections. Extreme operating conditions and high demands on reliability are constantly driving the development of these systems. The technology of the connectors forms the backbone of every functioning system.
One focus of our special training is on test and trial procedures for plug connections, against the background of the high demands on quality and functional safety. High-voltage and 48V technologies will also be presented. We convey the content to the participants in a practical and user-friendly manner in practical workshops on the individual subject areas. We offer a compact, comprehensive and practice-oriented overview of the current state of the art in the plug connector environment of the automotive industry.
